What To Expect

Kanaha State Forest is a really nice, relaxing, outdoor setting to have a get-together. It's in the same place where Lauren & Jon got married. This location is great because it's off towards the back of a field, surrounded by trees... so we have the place to ourselves. There will be some food & some open-mic... just a relaxing picnic-style party. You're welcome to bring your significant other, kids, & friendly dogs. Bring any outdoor games you'd want to play too.

What To Bring

• Camp/lawn chair (There's 6 picnic tables in the shelter, but some will be for the food.)
• Bring something to contribute to the pot luck (Please let Lauren know what you're bringing in your RSVP, or if you can't.)
• Camera (Take lots of pics! I don't have a photographer for this, but since there will be a lot of people I hardly get to see, I'd love to have pictures to remember this by! If you could put them on a CD to mail to me or email them to me, that'd be awesome!)
• Frisbee, horseshoes, other games, etc. (There's a horseshoe spot setup, but no horseshoes.)
• Bug spray / sun screen (If you think you'll need it.)
• Camping gear (If you choose to spend the night in the campground afterwards.)
• Hiking shoes & water (KSF has a bunch of trails if you want to hike later or the next day.)
• Swimwear (There's a pool in KSF if you want to go swimming later or the next day.)
